Avenue A | Razorfish Promotes Interactive Marketing Consultants Greitzer and Walter

New York, NY – August 17, 2007 – Avenue A | Razorfish, one of the largest interactive services firms in the world, has promoted Matt Greitzer to vice president and global discipline lead of Search Marketing, and Terri Walter to vice president of Advanced Marketing Solutions.

“Both Matt and Terri effectively manage interactive marketing teams that deliver extraordinary results while empowering clients with the tools they need to embrace digital innovation,” said Bob Lord, President of the East Region of Avenue A | Razorfish. “These promotions are well-deserved as Matt and Terri have made significant contributions to both Avenue A | Razorfish and the interactive industry as a whole.” The agency’s local clients include Condé Nast, Maybelline, Starwood Hotels and Ford Motor Company.

Greitzer is responsible for spear-heading the closer integration of the agency’s search and web development practices, and developing new and improved campaign management tools. He will continue to strengthen the company’s relationships with search engines, share best practices across its worldwide offices and develop new business. Since joining the agency in 1998, Greitzer’s many accomplishments include building the search practice into an industry leader worth over $100 million. His contributions to the industry were recognized by Yahoo!, which awarded the agency a 2007 Searchlight Award for innovation in search marketing for its work on behalf of Chase. Greitzer was also recently selected as a ‘40 Under 40’ leader by Crain’s New York Business.

A member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ (AAAA) Search Engine Marketing Committee, Greitzer has spoken at several industry conferences including Search Engine Strategies in San Jose and Chicago, and the Search Insider Summit in Palm Springs. Greitzer is a graduate of Bowdoin University.

Walter leads a national practice area dedicated to providing clients with emerging digital marketing solutions. She works with clients to integrate emerging digital platforms – including mobile, video, VOD, viral marketing, social media, branded entertainment and digital signage. She is tasked with empowering clients and teams with the roadmap and tools they need to embrace digital innovation, and is currently engaged in initiatives across our client base.

Prior to her new role, Walter managed the digital communications teams for Verizon Communications and T Rowe Price Group and approximately $50MM in media spend. Under Terri’s leadership from 2005-2007, the agency spearheaded numerous firsts in emerging media, including the first Xbox Live in-console advertising experience, the first podcasting sponsorship on ESPN and ABC News, the inaugural sponsorship of the LOST Experience, one of the first mainstream digital alternate reality games (ARG), and numerous custom multi-platform experiences for clients. Her work garnered three Marketing and Interactive Excellence (MIXX) finalist nominations for best broadband video, best online integration and best in-game advertising in 2006. Additionally, her team’s strategy and analytics work around understanding the relationship between direct response and branding was also recognized by JupiterKagan as one of the most innovative digital agency case studies of 2006. Walter holds a Masters degree in International Marketing from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and graduated magna cum laude from Boston College.
